Chapter1: regulation of tuitions of the academic courses of studies of the credit units
Article 1: : Within the first two years of a degree course leading to a diploma and the final two years of a degree course, tuitions are organized un the form of credit units capitalizable and evaluated.
Article 2: The first two years of a degree course leading to a diploma comprises two (2) years of studies recognized by the University Diploma of General Studies (U D G S) on which is specified the option or the dominant orientation of the training.
Chapter 2: courses of studies within the first two years of a degree course leading to a diploma
Article 1 :the student has two years of effective schooling to validate all the credit units of this initial level of training
-The University Diploma of General Studies I (U D G S) a maximum of two (2) years allowed
-The University Diploma of General Studies II (U D G S) a maximum of two (2) years allowed.
Article 2: The passage from U D G S ( I ) to U D G S ( II ) within the first two years of a degree course leading to a diploma is sanctioned by the validation of all the credit units in the program of U D G S ( I )
Article3: In case of dispensation, the student can be authorized to attend tuitions of the second year if he/she has validated the three quarters (¾) of credit units within the program of
U D G S ( I )
In this case, the student is required to make a request near the dean of the faculty.
Article 4:The student cannot prevail himself from this authorization of registration to the credit units of U D G S ( II ) to request registration related to equivalences and conversion courses in another faculty of another University
Article 5:At the end of two (2) statutory academic years of U D G S (II), the student who fails to validate the totality of the credit units of that level is automatically excluded from the normal mode of studies and can then be authorized to register in a continuous training.
Article 6:Tripling academic years not being authorized, the student who successfully passes the academic year from U D G S (1) to U D G S (2) after his/her first registration and fails successively the next two (2) academic years in U D G S (2) is excluded from the normal mode of studies.
He/she can then be authorized to register in Individual Permanent Training (I P T) in accordance with the provisions in force in this type of training.
Article 7: In the event of success of the (U D G S) in the (I P T) mode of training, the student regularly registered in this level can automatically register in the Bachelor’s degree program, in normal circumstances of studies.
Article 8: all credit units of U D G S (1) and U D G S (2) levels must be validated to be an entire holder of the University Diploma of General Studies ( U D G S )
Chapter 3: courses of studies of the final two years of a degree course
Article 9: This study level comprises two (2) academic years of studies recognized respectively by the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs
Article 10: The registration to the Bachelor’s degree program is allowed in case of the validation of all the credits units of U D G S 1 and U D G S 2 or any other equivalent diploma
Article 11: The student is required four (4) years of effective schooling to validate all the credit units of the final two years of a degree course
-Two (2) years for the Bachelor’s degree program
-Two (2) years for the Master’s degree program
Article 12: The Bachelor’s degree is delivered only at the end of the total validation of all the credit units registered within the prog
Article 13: The registation to the Master’s degree program is subordinated to the validation of all the credit units of the Bachelor’s degree one.
Article 14: In case of dispensation, the registration to the credit units of the Master’s degree program can be authorized whether the student has validated the three quarters (3/4) of the credit units registered within the program of the Bachelor’s degree. In this case, the student is required to make a request near the Dean of the faculty concerned.
He will at most be allowed to register to the three quarters (3/4) of the credit units formerly validated within the Bachelor’s degree program.
Article 15: The student cannot prevail himself to this authorization of registration to the credit units of the Master’s degree program to request academic registrations related to this level.
Article 16: At the end of the two (2) statutory academic years spent within the Bachelor’s degree program, the student who still didn’t validate the totality of the credit units of this program is excluded from the normal mode of studies.
He can therefore be authorized to transfer and renew his registration in Individual Permanent Studies (I PT) in accordance with the provisions in force in this type of training.
Article 17: In the event the student passes the Bachelor’s degree accomplished in (I P T) program, he can automatically be allowed to register to the Master’s degree program, in normal circumstances.
Article 18: At the end of the two (2) statutory academic years spent within the Master’s degree program, the student who still didn’t validate the totality of the credit units of this program is excluded from this mode of studies.
He can therefore be authorized to transfer and renew his registration in Individual Permanent Studies (I PT) in accordance with the provisions in force in this type of training.
Article 19: The Master’s degree can only be delivered at the end of the total validation of the credit units registered within this program. |
